4. Purpose of the compilation, processing and use of data
The objective of the company is to lease, operate and manage properties, particularly data center facilities, and to provide power supply to these properties.
Personal data is compiled, processed and used strictly for the specific purpose of carrying out and meeting the business objectives of e-shelter services GmbH.
5. Particulars of affected groups of persons, data or data categories
At e-shelter services GmbH, personal data is largely compiled, processed and used for the following groups of persons: Employees, customers and suppliers, interested parties and users of the internet offers in the context of contract and order execution.
6. Recipients or categories of recipients to whom data may be communicated
Public authorities if there are legal provisions of priority, external and internal service providers and contractors under §11 BDSG as well as external agencies, in-house departments and intra-group companies of e-shelter in order to meet the objectives laid down at item 4.
7. Deletion of data
The corresponding data is routinely deleted after expiry of storage periods and obligations imposed by the legislature or by supervisory authorities. Other data is deleted when the objectives under item 4 cease to be applicable.
8. Communication of data to service providers
Data is provided to external service providers such as freight carriers to complete settlement procedures in the context of business objectives. A separate data protection agreement is concluded with each service provider if need be. No data is transmitted abroad.

The protection of your privacy and personal data is an important concern for us. We record and process your personal data only with your knowledge and consent. For this reason, we provide you details of any information we save and the purpose for which such information is used. e-shelter services GmbH is committed to complying with data protection regulations under the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz= BDSG).
Storage of access data
Every instance of user access to a page on e-shelter facility services GmbH’s offer and every retrieval of a file are recorded in a log file on our server or the servers of our provider. This data is used exclusively for statistical purposes and is not passed on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
This data is not individual related. We are not able to relate which user has recalled which data. In detail, the following data set is being saved:
- Name of the recalled data file
- Date and time of data call
- Transferred data pack
- Message, if the transfer was successful
The IP address of the computer which sent the request is not being saved. We are not able to create individual-related user profiles.
The disclosure by the user of any personal or business data (email addresses, names, and addresses) through the Internet offer is purely voluntary. Such data too is handled confidentially and not passed on to third parties. Users have the right to find out what personal data has been stored and may apply to get this information at no charge. They also have a right to correct personal data, block its use of or have it deleted, subject to statutory provisions.

We have no way of indicating the use, if any, of cookies on linked pages. Most browsers are configured to accept cookies automatically. Its own content must be distinguished from “links” to content maintained by other providers. e-shelter services GmbH does not assume responsibility for third-party content provided through links and specifically indicated as such, and does not adopt their content. The providers of linked websites alone are liable for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and for damages incurred through the use or non-use of information on these sites. The editorial department is responsible for third-party references only if it had positive knowledge of even potentially illegal or prosecutable content, and it was technically possible and within reason to prevent the use of such content.
Third parties are not permitted to send unsolicited information through the use of contact details such as postal addresses, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail addresses published in the imprint or the like. We explicitly reserve the right to initiate legal action against the sender of so-called spam mail in the event of a violation of this prohibition.
